Our Events
the belgian waffle ride: arizona
The Hell of the North (Desert). This first gravel race of the season accentuates the unroadiness of the BWR with some of the most inspirational single track of any race in the country, smooth roads and terribly technical terrain to balance out the cocktail of BWR diversity; unroad v. road.
The Belgian Waffle Ride: Utah
The Hell of the South (West). Claw your way through this punishing course in Southern Utah as the BWR comes to the high desert of the American West. Itβs a family affair with a down home feel and a very fun schedule of events that takes in all the beauty of this special desert/mountain venue.
The Belgian Waffle Ride: California
Welkom to The Hell of the West (coast). The most unique cycling event in the country. The Lion of the Quadrupel Crown. Whatever you call it, the BWR is a Spring-Classic inspired, unroad race with a happy disrespect for the usual way of racing a bicycle. This is the biggest one of βem all!
The Belgian Waffle Ride: BC
The Hell of the Great White North. We bring waffles north of the border into British Columbia where old growth forests and a truly remarkable landscape, unlike any other the BWR has traversed, awaits in quiet Canadian confidence. This one is splendid and thereβs a vibrant cycling community, too.
The Belgian Waffle Ride: Mexico
BWR Mexico will be the final stop of the 2024 Belgian Waffle Ride Series and feature the largest prize purse of the series. Held in Queretaro, a magnificently romantic old world city of cobblestone paved streets, this finale is a dream destination with warm weather and a welcoming community.
The Belgian Waffle Ride: North Carolina
The Hell of the East (Coast). This is the longest of them all, with the most elevation gain, at over 14,000 feet. The lush landscape will sink its hook into you and drag you (repeatedly) over the Blue Ridge mountains in this east-coast edition of the most unique race of all. Itβs certainly the most scenic BWR.
The Tripel Crown of Gravel Series
The Tripel Crown of Gravel Series has been recreated to give riders, both professional and amateur alike, the chance to compete in three very different environments over a short period of time, offering the perfect blend between recovery and fitness gains for the early season competition. The Tripel Crown will be contested for both Waffle and Wafer distances in a points-based omnium format, for professionals and age-group riders alike.
Sagan Fondo: San Diego
A celebration of road riding like no other that brings together all of the mischief and passion for cycling that Peter Sagan is known for with an unparalleled green jersey competition.
